Hello all, my name is Loyd Van Horn.  I am a graduating sophomore of Tri-County Community College and am receiving my A.A. this May.  I am in a southern rock band called Lonesome where I play rhythym/lead guitar.  Other than music, I guess my interests would have to lie in one of the following areas:
    • Socializing/Hanging Out
    • Sports (just about any kind will do, especially football)
    • Building wonderful web pages like this one
    • Partying
    • Photography
    • Writing (I am a columnist, plus I am writing a book right now called "Who Put the Ass in Brasstown?"
    • Talking to the beautiful women in my life
This is me playing my wonderful guitar

    • Favorite Hair Color: Speaking of hair.....brown and blond (there is just something about a blond headed girl that gets my temperature boiling).
    • Worst Feeling: Being lied to (when it actually effects your feelings),  playing your heart out on stage and not being satisfied with the performance (or someone telling you that you sucked)
    • Best Feeling: Being loved, putting on an outstanding concert and everyone just having a blast (well, even if just one person got something out of it, that is all that matters), holding someone while playing with their hair, cuddling and looking deep into their eyes.  getting a massage, being with the people that mean the most to you.  Making a woman laugh.
    • Favorite thing to do on the weekends: Spend time with friends, play a concert, cruise Murphy (usually the whole night I say "Tonight, I am not leaving here till I get me a woman" and always end up leaving womanless.  But that is OK, I don't want any Murphy ho's anyway.

    • First thought in the morning:  Saturday and Sunday mornings:  Why the hell did I drink that much last night. (just kidding) Sometimes, usually Brent comes over and wakes me up around 11:00 in the morning with a damn flying elbow drop or something.)  Monday-Friday mornings:  I don't really have to go to school today do I?

    • Vanilla cake or Chocolate: Chocolate with cream cheese icing.
    • What do you drive: 90' Ford Mustang, red
    • Do you sleep with a stuffed animal: wouldn't that be a bit psycho?
    • Thunderstorms, scary or cool: Cool. One of my favorite things to do is sleep during a thunderstorm.  I also like it right before a storm hits, sit outside on my porch swing, let the wind blow through my hair, smell the rain, hear the thunder, watch the lightning.  I love thunderstorms.

    • will be again.

    • Is the glass half full or half empty: half full (but if it is alcohol, for some reason I always say it is half empty.)
    • Most Valued Possession: well, I was gonna say the same thing Katie said, but I don't really own my family and friends like a possession.  So my guitars I guess would be my MVP.
    • Song that best describes you: Moe's song "Till the End of Time" and "I Need You" by Skynyrd (especially that line that goes "And it feels so good inside babe, just to call you on the telephone" everytime I sing it on stage I think of you Alison.)
    • Favorite Flavor of Snapple: don't drink that stuff.
    • Which one, Coke or Pepsi: whatever I can get, usually Barq's rootbeer though.
    • Which kind of mile do you prefer: the kind I don't have to run anymore (thank God), I don't know, that is one I'll have to think about
    • Are you a left or righty or ambidextrious: Righty (I do everything right handed except play drums, which I do left handed for some unknown reason, and I used to play guitar left handed too, till I learned that right handed was tons easier), otherwise my left hand is totally useless.

    • When you meet the person of the opposite sex, what do you notice:

    • Usually in this order:  Smile, Hair, Legs, Eyes, Lips.  From then on, I notice her laughter.  If a woman has a sexy smile and laugh, it makes me want to make her laugh even more, and hearing a woman's laugh is one of the world's greatest things. If she has a belly button ring I ask for marriage (just kidding, but belly button rings are incredibly sexy)
    • If you could be a garden tool, what would it be: A tree pruner/trimmer.  Get rid of all the useless stuff that is just getting in the way and help to fully bring out the life of everything.  (what did you think I was gonna say?  A ho?)
    • If you could do anything to someone you hate: Totally ignore them, and if they keep up their crap, kick their ass.
    • What kind of shoe would you be: probably a pair of sandals because people usually wear them during warm weather and maybe I could see up some girls' skirt!!  (just kidding, I have no clue what kind of shoe I would be.)
    • What is under your bed at home: whatever book I am reading at the time (which is right now Lewis Grizzard's "Elvis is dead and I don't feel so good myself", my phone, a couple of Rolling Stones' magazines, the boogie man.
    • What is the best number in the world: 69 (for obvious reasons) and 14 because it is my birthdate and has always brought me luck.
    • What is your dream car: Dodge Dakota sport package/extended cab/ red w/ black trim/ V8 / 4 wheel drive / the works.
    • Who is your biggest crush right now:  I don't have one, although, Britney Spears is kinda hot.
